We left Petaluma and headed for the coast via Occidental to Jenner. Diane left first and was waiting at the first traffic light when 2 cars hit head on right in front of her. I was still loading the car back at the hotel, so I only saw the aftermath. A bit of a chilling start…
Lots of hill climbs that day just to be rewarded with a 20 mph head wind once we got to the Pacific. I had not quite caught up with Diane when I saw the Timber Cove Hotel and Restaurant…right on the cliffs of the Pacific. Once I sweet talked the receptionist for a good rate, I caught up to Diane and we turned around. We met two guys on their annual motorcycle trek at the bar during dinner. They gave great suggestions on cool roads to travel. Relaxed in the jacuzzi tub…Ahhh!
