South Dakota and North Dakota are square states and all of the roads are at right angles. So you either take a hundred turns to go diagonally, or just north then east. We chose the latter. We rode up along the Missouri River to North Dakota, then went east as far as we could get. Diane cycled over 100 miles and I just over 80 for our longest day yet. We made it to Edgeley, ND, southwest of Fargo. With the time change into Central Time, we missed the delicious burgers and had to take a prefab pizza back to the room. Yuk!
