What is a lockoff?

A lockoff is normally a 2 bedroom condo in which we "lock off" one of the bedrooms so that it may be rented during times of lesser demand as a smaller condo than it actually is. It is not a unit with an adjoining door such as you would find in a hotel! A lockoff is completely private. One has full access to the entire condo or townhome except for one of the bedrooms. You can tell that a unit is a lockoff if it has a letter at the end of the unit number. For example, #223a would be a 1 bedroom lockoff and #223 would be the whole condo.

Lockoff units are available nightly during the spring, summer, fall, and early winter season for a lesser rate than that of the entire unit. From December through April, lockoffs are only available midweek as the demand for the entire unit is too great on winter weekends.
