We wanted to take a day off in Duluth because it is such a cool town. We settled on visiting two breweries and then rode out of town at the crack of 3:00 p.m. As you could imagine, we didn’t quite make it as far as planned. But… we made it to Bayfield Wisconsin, a town recommended by one of the guys at the brewery. Diane got one of he last rooms and we went across the street for a great dinner and a local ale. We met and had a nice conversation with a woman captain who just moved back from Florida for the summer to take care of her father. She was operating the sightseeing vessel that goes around the Apostle Islands. Like us, she is struggling to manage her business in Florida from afar. Thank goodness for managers and partners!

Once at the hotel, the electricity was out so it took an hour or more to check in. It gave us time to explore the city.
