How many cars will I be able to park?
Every unit with 101 Great Escapes has at least 2 permitted parking spaces (excluding Timber Ridge #22, which only has 1 permitted parking spot). Some of our units have shared garages. Some units have private garages. To find out how many parking spaces a specific unit has, please select “Photos/Maps/Details” on our website.
If you are staying at a unit with 2 permitted parking spaces, and you have 3 cars, you may have to park the additional vehicle in the Mammoth RV park, which charges $____ per vehicle, per night. Depending on the complex, time of year, and capacity, we may be able to give an additional parking pass.
The town of Mammoth Lakes does not allow overnight parking on the streets from November 1 – April 30 due to snow removal. You may also NOT park in open parking lots. Example, Minaret Shopping Plaza does not allow overnight parking in the lot.

How do I decide where I should stay?
Is a Ski In Ski Out Property right for you?
Ski In Ski Out properties are generally “above” the lifts (in elevation). This differs from “Walk to Lift” properties, which are at or near the base of the lifts and require that you first walk to the lift and take a chair up prior to skiing or riding. There are only 5 True Ski in Ski Out Properties in Mammoth, whereas there are many convenient “Walk to Lift” Properties available (See “Canyon Lodge Area Rentals” or “Eagle Lift Area Rentals” on the left sidebar to check out our “Walk to Lift” properties in Mammoth). Each of Mammoth’s other ski in ski out properties access Little Eagle Lodge. These include The Bridges (3 Stars), Eagle Run (4 Stars), Sunstone Lodge (4 stars), and Juniper Springs Lodge (3.5 Stars). Timber Ridge Resort (3 Stars) is the only property in Mammoth that has ski in ski out trails to both Canyon Lodge and to Little Eagle Lodge. You can view condos and townhomes for rent at these other ski in ski out properties by clicking the top link on the sidebar labeled “Ski in Ski out Rentals”.
True Ski In Ski Out does not mean there is zero walking involved! It means that you ski your first run of the day from the property down to the ski lift, i.e. you ski a portion of a run before taking a chairlift up the Mountain. At the end of the ski day, you ski back in to the same point you skied out. For example, the two ski trails out of Timber Ridge are at the ends of the buildings. You must walk to the end of one of the buildings to begin skiing as the roads within the property are plowed. Therefore, the closer you are to the end of a building, the closer you are to skiing out.
