There is a gondola which drops you right at Canyon Lodge- no driving and no shuttles. There is a small general store, a deli, a wine bar, a variety of restaurants, a nightclub, and of course, several shops at your disposal. The Village in Mammoth has it all, including Mammoth's best events and Movies under the Stars! The new ski back trail is open should you wish to "Ski In". Otherwise, the Village Gondola runs until 6 p.m. for returns back to the condo at the end of the ski day. For kids: The Village Arcade is in the Grand Sierra lodge. The 3 or 4 Arcade games work well and are reasonably priced (50 cents to a dollar). The Village is Mammoth's newest hot spot, so book early!
